Friends Of Residential Treasures: LA
- The Friends Of Residential Treasures: Los Angeles (FORT: LA) works to promote stronger civic identity and community cohesion among the residents of Los Angeles County by advancing scholarship and facilitating wider exploration of our architecturally significant residential homes. FORT: LA announced its first Fellowship recipient. Sian Winship will study history of Japanese-American architects working in Los Angeles from 1945-1970, and will provide a web article, exterior photographs and “Trial map” as the results of her work. The MaddocksBrown Foundation will continue its support for FORT: LA, which hopes to launch an innovative mapping app to celebrate the Los Angeles residential architecture.
