- The MaddocksBrown Foundation has continued to support Dr. Larissa Rodríguez’s innovative research in women’s urology. Dr. Rodríguez is the Associate Provost for Faculty and Student Initiatives in Health and STEM, as well as a Professor of Urology and the director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS), at Keck Medicineof USC. She is also vice chair of academics for the USC Institute of Urology and director of the FPMRS Fellowship. Dr. Rodríguez is an established surgeon-scientist with extensive expertise in the field of female pelvic and reconstructivesurgery in urology. Dr. Rodríguez is nationally and internationally recognized for her work in the field of stem cell researchand tissue engineering of the urinary tract and in animal models of lower urinary tract dysfunction. She and her team work to improve the quality of life for patients with lasting conditions.
