SENIOR CITIZEN INITIATIVES
Over the years, MaddocksBrown has provided consistent funding for community programs that address aging and elderly services. Beginning in the year 2000, the Foundation engaged in an active program to provide grants for necessary services such as health counseling, financial counseling, and mental health counseling.
The Antelope Valley Committee on Aging
MaddocksBrown Foundation provided funding for a new truck to expand the scope of service to those in the Antelope Valley who were in shut off and rural areas.
St. Barnabas Senior Center of Los Angeles
St. Barnabas provides food and social services for the elderly in downtown Los Angeles.
WISE Senior Services
WISE Senior Services offers counseling and senior services in Santa Monica.
Food on Foot
Food on Foot is a nonprofit that helps feed the homeless along with helping them find employment.
Santa Barbara Hospice Project
Santa Barbara Hospice Project offers free counseling, support groups, and resources for people with long-term illnesses or life-threatening diagnosis.
Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels delivers meals to homebound seniors in the Los Angeles area.
Jewish Homes for the Aging
Jewish Homes is the biggest non-profit, single-source provider of senior housing and assisted living in Los Angeles. They have independent living along with assisted care, acute psychiatric care, dementia care, and more.
The Jewish Hospice Project
The Jewish Hospice Project offers end-of-life specialists who provide spiritual care and guidance.
